Questions

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It is free forever and it runs a whole night properly: the strike engine, unlimited undo, the TV display, the player QR card, who has paid, the payout split, every night you have ever run and the stats that come with them. No card, no ads, no expiry.

Why is history free when competitors charge for it?

They mostly do not — the closest apps to this one are free and keep full history and stats. We checked, after initially getting it wrong. Charging for it would have made us the worst free option in the category, so we moved it. The whole reasoning is here.

What is the 14-day trial then?

Every new account gets Pro features for 14 days without a card. When it ends you drop to Free, which keeps everything except season standings, saved rosters, custom rules and the second table. Nothing is deleted.

Do you take a cut of the pot?

No, and we never will. We do not handle the money at all. For contrast, Challonge charges $0.75 on every paid order on its free plan.

Can I cancel?

Two clicks, through Stripe, no email required. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and your nights stay exactly where they are. Within 30 days we will refund it as well.

What happens if my card fails?

Nothing immediately. We retry over about two weeks and your plan keeps working the whole time — a card that expired this morning should not take your TV display down at 8pm.
