Privacy policy

The short version: we collect an email address so you can sign in, and the names you type into a night. There are no ads, no advertising trackers, and nothing is sold to anyone.

What we collect

• Your email address, and a name if you give one. Needed to sign you in and to email you about your account.
• A hash of your password. Never the password itself. We cannot read it and neither can anyone who steals the database.
• Your nights — the names you type, who you marked paid, and every shot recorded. These are player names as you typed them, not accounts.
• Session records — when you signed in, and a hash of your IP address and browser string. The raw IP is never stored.
• Payment records, if you subscribe: a Stripe customer id and a subscription id. Card details never reach our servers at all — Stripe hosts the checkout and the billing portal.

What we do not collect

• Advertising identifiers, third-party trackers, or cross-site cookies.
• Your location.
• Any payment card information.
• Anything at all about the players whose names you type, beyond the name itself and what happened in the night.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors. It tells us which pages are read. It does not follow anybody around.

Who else sees it

• Cloudflare — hosting, database and storage.
• Stripe — payments, if you subscribe.
• Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and there is no advertising business here to sell it to.

Public pages

A night has an unguessable link used by the TV display and the player strike card. Anyone with that link can see the night: its name, venue, the player names and the standings. No email addresses or account details are ever on it. You can make a night private from its settings.

How long we keep it

Your nights stay until you delete them. Close your account and we keep it for 30 days in case it was a mistake, then remove it. Session records expire after 30 days. Error logs are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

Export everything as CSV from the app, or email [email protected] and ask for a copy or a deletion. We will do it within 30 days and we will not ask why.

Children

This is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will email account holders rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
