Free tools
Free tools for running a pool night
No signup, no email gate, no popup after three seconds. They work on their own, which is the only reason a free tool is worth building.
Why these are free
Because they are genuinely useful on their own, and a free tool that demands an email address before it will add up three numbers is not a free tool. Nothing here asks who you are, nothing is sent to a server, and there is no popup after three seconds.
All three solve the parts of a pool night that happen away from the table: working out what the pot pays, drawing an order nobody can argue with, and having something on paper for the evening your phone dies. If you want those handled automatically while the night is running, that is what the app does — but these work perfectly well on their own and always will.
Which one you want
If you are about to pay people out, the pot split calculator does the percentages and the rounding, including a house cut. If you are about to start, the order generator draws a running order that nobody can argue with. If you are not going to use a phone at all, the printable score sheet gives you the grid and the rules on one page.
-
Pot split calculator
Buy-in, players and a house cut in. What each place pays out, rounded to whole dollars, out.
-
Random order generator
Paste the names, get a fair running order. Proper shuffle, not the sort-by-random trick.
-
Printable score sheet
The paper version, for the night your phone dies. Yes, really.
Run your next night on it
Free, and it runs a whole night — the strike engine, the TV display, the player QR card, who has paid and what the pot pays out. No ads on any plan.
